Do I dare?

Do I dare say it? Will I jinx myself if I commit this to print? Well, I'm saying it anyway! RUBY IS SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!! Halleigh-freakin'-leujah!

The week we spent up at the Tresillian centre in Sydney was well worth it. We have been home for a week now, and Ruby has slept through almost every night since. And what a difference those uninterrupted hours make. The only pay off is that she wakes a lot earlier than she used to, like at 5am, but that's pretty good for a child who used to wake up to 8 times a night. And with the warmer weather arriving it is actually quite nice to be up and pottering around in the early part of the day. Yesterday morning I even made 3 pots of jam before 8 o'clock in the morning! (And no, that's not even a joke.)

The weather on the weekend was so warm, it was quite strange. It was about 27 degrees on Saturday and really felt like summer had hit, even though it's only the beginning of September. Apparently we are in for a hot summer this year. I hope my mum can finish making our new curtains for downstairs before the heat sets in, so we can keep those western windows covered. If we have any days like this past New Years Day, (45 degrees) we will need them!
