My first post on blogspot!

I have only a few minutes before the evening rush starts. Simon is at Joey Scouts and Declan and Ruby are playing in the garden. The leaves on the willow trees are coming out in a sudden green mist and there are flowers covering the fortnight lillies again. Spring has sprung!

Today I walked to get Simon from school as Brett got home early from work and could stay with the other two. It was a chance to spend time with my biggest boy, who is sprouting like a weed. He skipped and ran infront of me all the way home and told me that he couldn't decide what he likes best- staying at home or going to school.

As I look out the window at Dexie and Ruby playing I see them both on Ruby's tricycle, Declan sitting in the tray and reaching over Ruby's shoulders to steer for her. Today Declan showed Ruby something and she actually said, "Oh, cool!" I've never heard a 20 month old child say that before!
