ho hum

Ho hum. It's Sunday. It's rainy and windy and blaaaaah. This week has been slightly hellish, with Ruby really quite sick with some mystery virus that struck her down on Tuesday night and has finished with a bang by covering her in a fine rink rash. She has been totally miserable and feverish the whole time and I have spent parts of most nights sleeping on the floor next to her cot, especially when she started dry retching early Friday morning! Oh yes, we have had it all this week folks! Fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, no eating, lethargy and a rash. Sigh. Anyway she seems much better today but still very stroppy.

With Brett being at marking the past week I've been able to watch some 'chick flicks' lol, ones that he would never ever want to see in a million years. It's been lovely! I got my most favouritest movie EVER out again, Imagine Me and You with the incredibly gorgeous and talented Piper Perabo and Lena Headey. Now there's a double act...


Only 13 more sleeps until Bianca and I go away to a friend's wedding in the Blue Mountains! YAY!!!! I cannot wait. When she told me about it first I wasn't sure if I could go and she said to me, "Emma, I have two words for you; Buffet Breakfast." And I was like, "ok, i'm there."
