Springingly springing into spring.

Look at the size of this massive person standing next to me! Simon is now officially taller than me. And he has started shaving. WTF. All the kids now are full on bloody teenage bags of hormones and extremely smelly. They are all pretty nice still, although Simon is such an unbearable smart arse at times it makes me want to smother him with a cushion.

I nicked off down to Adelaide a couple of weeks ago for a 3 day conference on Diabetes in Pregnancy. Some very interesting presentations and some insufferable boors in the audience. (apparently endocrinology is very much a boys club.) We didn't get much of a chance to see a lot of Adelaide as the conference was all day for 3 days, but we had a couple of delicious meals out. We went to the Jamie Oliver restaurant which was brilliant, from the building to the atmosphere to the food. One of the midwives I went with has 3 little kids and had to keep ringing them every 2 seconds with instructions for her husband. I don't think anyone really noticed I had gone actually.

Two more shifts this week at work and then I have 2 weeks annual leave and we head off to Tasmania, stopping in Melbourne for a couple of nights on the way. Hooray!
