count the days.

There are 2 weeks left of school term, and then Brett and I are going to Katoomba for 4 days ON OUR OWN. Oh my god I cannot wait. The kids are going to my parents. Yay. I seriously need a break. I feel like all I do is go to work/look after the kids. I know that's not true, I have some down time, but I need more than the occasional hour here and there.  I'm looking forward to just hanging out, visiting cafes, looking at antique shops, seeing the sights, and more than that, to not having to organise anyone.

The day we come home is my 40th birthday. And then for the rest of the school holidays I am working almost every day. Ho hum.
