I am very glad that this semester only lasts until June, for several reasons. Firstly, the house is a wreck. I have no time to do anything other than the very basic stuff. I've started doing the groceries online, which has been a big help. I'm always rushing and hurrying everyone around, it's like being on a treadmill. The kids are pretty tired aswell. Four days a week of after school care is not agreeing with Declan at all. He likes going well enough, but I think it is tiring him out too much. He has been very emotional and moody the past few weeks, there has been a return to not making it to the toilet in time, and he is having trouble sleeping again. Simon and Ruby seem to be handling it much better- Ruby loves aftercare because of all the art and craft she gets to do, so that's really good. At least there is only one week left of school term. Brett will be home with them all holidays, and when school starts again they will only have to go to after care for a few weeks because Brett's taking 2 weeks long service leave during my last 2 weeks of semester. That will be a great help.
