Shite!

ok so this really gives me the shits!!! Simon has had an appointment booked with the ENT surgeon for the past 6 weeks, to get the polyp in his right nostril looked at. The damn thing keeps coming back and it's really causing him distress now, the poor little sod is worried that people can see it (at the moment you can't, but at it's largest it actually pushes his nostril out at the side) and it makes his right nostril constantly stream mucus. Not very pleasant! Anyway, we had the appointment for yesterday afternoon, and about 10 minutes before I was going to leave the house to pick up the boys from school and go to the doctor's office, the phone rings and it's the secretary saying "Sorry, but something has come up and the doctor can't see you." WTF? What has 'come up'? An important golf game perhaps. I had to reschedule for Friday next week. (I love the way they ask you to reschedule as though it was your idea in the first place, like "Would you like to make another appointment?" Well, let's see... I guess I'll have to!)

Brett starts HSC marking this afternoon, so basically I won't see him for the next 2 or 3 weeks. He goes straight from work in the afternoons to the marking centre and finishes at 9pm. And on Saturdays he will be there 9-5pm. Not a job I would want.
