breakfast

Keiraville School hosted a special breakfast yesterday morning. It was part of a local radio station's morning show, apparently they visit 22 schools over the year. We took the kids up to school at 7 am (early!!!!) and they got breakfast there and there was a karaoke competition and the fire brigade arrived as well to show the kids the fire engine. It was quite good fun actually, the kids really enjoyed it and the teachers all got into the spirit too, by taking part in the karaoke and singing "I'm a Believer" all together. Poor old Ruby managed to get a whole carton of chocolate milk tipped over her head and then she got sprayed by the fire hose, but apart from that she had fun, lol.

Only one day of school left before the easter holidays! Mum and Dad are coming down on Saturday for lunch, so fingers crossed that the deck is finished. What! I hear you cry- that deck is still not finished? Well it is very very close! Brett is just fastening down the decking boards and he is about three quarters across. The problem has been that we have had so much rain the past few weeks, the drought seems to have broken in Wollongong.

Bloody Declan and Simon are having a screaming fight with each other. The reason? Simon wants Declan to say "Can you hear something?" while he starts singing the spider man song. God forbid!!! They are both dressed up as superheroes. Ruby is trailing after them with a cape and carrying the toilet brush. Now Declan is in the naughty corner because he keeps going in and making nasty comments to Simon like "Well you are NOT an actor!" and "The show is OVER!"
